Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce and pop icon Taylor Swift have been in a highly publicized relationship since 2023, and speculations about a potential engagement have intensified over the past few months.
Their romance has gotten so big that there have been betting odds that Kelce would make an on-field proposal.
In the meantime, the 35-year-old Kelce is focused on helping the Chiefs return to the Super Bowl and become the first-ever team to win the crown three straight times.
But he's also willing to offer his advice on getting married from time to time, especially when it's about the schedule. On the latest episode of Kelce's "New Heights" podcast with his brother, Jason Kelce, a caller asked if having a fall wedding would be okay since it's also football season.
“I've seen weddings in (expletive) February, I've seen weddings everywhere but the fall,” said the Chiefs tight end. "So I'm not sure if the fall was a good wedding season.”
Swifties, are you taking this down?
He added that he has yet to attend a fall wedding since his friends have always tied the knot in the summer. But he also offered a candid suggestion.
“You gotta be willing to find a weekend where the team isn't playing anybody good maybe," added the younger Kelce.
Fans, especially Swift's, have gossiped about a looming engagement for the celebrity couple, citing signs such as matching outfits, spending vacations with each other's families and public displays of affection.
Travis Kelce's latest remarks will only further fuel the speculations.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs are eagerly awaiting their opponent in the second round of the playoffs, where they will have the No. 1 seed for third time in five seasons.
