The entire NFL community is waiting for Aaron Rodgers to decide his future for the 2025 NFL season.

Rodgers visited the Pittsburgh Steelers for six hours last Friday, getting to know the coaching staff and front office. He met with head coach Mike Tomlin, offensive coordinator Arthur Smith, general manager Omar Khan, and owner Art Rooney II.

The Steelers have been the most aggressive team in pursuing him and it seems like his options are to play for them or retire.

The Minnesota Vikings have been linked to Rodgers during free agency but general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah told ESPN's Kevin Seifert that the Vikings are happy with their quarterback room right now.

"Right now we're happy with our room," Adofo-Mensah said

He later confirmed that nothing is 100% forever.

"For me to sit here and say anything is 100% forever, that's just not the job," Adofo-Mensah said.

In other words, the Vikings are happy with their quarterback room and are planning to move forward with J.J. McCarthy as their starter. However, if something changes with Rodgers, they could explore it at some point down the line.

Rodgers became a free agent two weeks ago once his release from the Jets was made official. He spent the last two seasons with them before they decided to go in a different direction.

Rodgers has a contract offer from the Steelers but is taking his time before deciding on his future. He finished the 2024 season with 3,897 yards through the air, 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.

The New York Giants were also interested in Rodgers until they signed Russell Wilson on Tuesday night. Wilson is in line to start for them in 2025 after agreeing to a one-year, $10.5 million contract.
