Will Pick 15 Be Traded By the Falcons?

The NFL draft is a day away, and there is some uncertainty with the Atlanta Falcons' first-round pick and what they could do with it. There is heavy speculation that they will keep it and select a defensive lineman, but there is also a possibility of this pick being traded for more draft capital.

The Falcons have a hole in the defensive line that they are wanting to fill in this draft, and with this pick they will select the best available edge rusher or interior defensive lineman available. They could also look to trade back and gather more depth in the drafts later rounds.

The other possibilities of this pick are if the Falcons are able to trade up if they find a high rated prospect they truly like. This is a big decision for a team that has been stuck in the middle of the pack for a few years and is looking to fully get out of no man's land.

At the moment this pick remains in Atlanta and until the draft, many players are going to continue to be linked to this pick and if the Falcons keep this, we will see a big-name edge or defensive tackle join the team. This pick could potentially be traded if a Kyle Pitts trade happens at the draft or right before, but this scenario is seeming a bit more unlikely.
