The Chicago Blackhawks have their 2024 preseason schedule set, and it's known to the general public. Despite the team not officially making an announcement, other teams have begun releasing their preseason schedules and the Hawks' schedule is known despite a lack of an announcement.

According to Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times, among other sources, the Blackhawks will open the preseason on Sept. 25 when they host the Detroit Red Wings. The Blackhawks will also play another game in Milwaukee, which is their final game of the preseason on Saturday, Oct. 5 against the St. Louis Blues.

The Blackhawks sandwich their three consecutive road games with the preseason home opener and their final two preseason games. That said, only their home contests against the Red Wings and Minnesota Wild will be at the United Center.

The 2024 NHL preseason will feature a lot of similar faces for the Blackhawks. Frank Nazar will likely be one of the names that many are watching after joining the team late in the 2023-24 season. However, whoever the Blackhawks select with the second overall pick in the upcoming draft will likely not suit up for a single game in the preseason, whether that be Ivan Demidov or Artyom Levshunov.
