The Chicago Blackhawks announced on April 24 that forward Colton Dach was assigned to the Rockford IceHogs. Although there is no statement regarding Dach's injury (elbow), he could be nearing recovery and play for the IceHogs in their playoff run.

Colton Dach played 33 games for the Rockford IceHogs and scored 12 goals and 26 points. Dach played 25 games and scored seven points with the Blackhawks. He injured his elbow on March 20 against the Los Angeles Kings and missed the remainder of the regular season.
The Rockford IceHogs play game two against the Chicago Wolves on Friday, April 25, at 7 pm CT in Rockford. The IceHogs beat the Wolves in game one 2-1 in overtime. Kevin Korchinski scored a goal to tie the game 1-1 in the second period, and Artyom Levshunov scored the game-winning goal.
