Blackhawks Release 2024-25 Schedule; Home Opener October 17th

Some of those highlights include:

October 8th: Season opener in Utah

October 17th: A home opener against the San Jose Sharks and Macklin Celebrini.

October 25th: A tilt with the Nashville Predators that includes their new and improved roster with Steven Stamkos

November 21: A matchup against the Stanley Cup champion Florida Panthers

December 31: The Winter Classic against the St. Louis Blues at Wrigley Field

Blackhawks Schedule Heavy on Family Friendly Times

The Blackhawks made it a point in their release to point out a chunk of weekend games at accommodating times for families to bring their children. Featuring matinee games, it’s a smart gesture that grows the younger generation where they can see the team mature with its younger core.

There’s a two week break in February with the four nations tournament as well as a more balanced approach where one month isn’t over heavy with home or away games. Last season, the Blackhawks opened up on the road and had a couple games at home before hitting the road again. This year while they begin with four road games, they then have a four-game homestand before heading out for five away games.

After an exciting day in free agency, now fans can begin marking their calendars for the important matchups. Games will be broadcast on the new Chicago Sports Network while national games have yet to be announced.

But with Connor Bedard in the fold, expect another healthy slate of coverage.
