Bruins Insider Gives Discouraging Update On Hampus Lindholm's Injury

A Boston Bruins insider has given a discouraging update on Hampus Lindholm's injury status.

Hampus Lindholm has been out for awhile for the Boston Bruins after fracturing his kneecap from blocking a Justin Faulk shot.

When Hampus Lindholm originally got injured against the St. Louis Blues, the Bruins gave him a six-week timeline to come back to the lineup, but things are not looking good at all.

Bruins insider Steve Conroy was asked this weekend if there was any updates on Lindholm's status as this coming Tuesday marks five weeks since Lindholm has been out.

Steve responded to the fan's question stating that the last time he saw Lindholm was a few weeks ago, but Lindholm was still walking with a limp.

This is not the update Bruins fans want to hear, as Lindholm before the injury was the team's best defenseman, and best player in general.

Since being injured, the Bruins have been trying to turn things around, but it's clear that the Bruins are missing Lindholm's presence on the blue line as they have been exposed by multiple contending teams.

Hopefully when Lindholm does return, he can play like he was before getting injured.
