ECHL: Domenic DiVincentiis Sent To Norfolk Admirals

The Norfolk Admirals are getting a boost between the pipes as the Manitoba Moose have sent goaltender Domenic DiVincentiis back to Norfolk. DiVincentiis last played with Norfolk on January 25th. The Bolton, Ontario, Native has played in 20 games with the Admirals this season, putting up a 15-5 record with a 2.97 GAA and .896 SV%. Norfolk will likely still roll with Thomas Milic, who recorded back-to-back shutouts to help Norfolk carry a 2-0 series lead to Wheeling. Norfolk plays back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday. It wouldn’t be a shock if DiVincentiis starts Game 5 if the series gets that far. He’s 1-1 against Wheeling. He allowed three goals in his win and five goals in his loss. Both of the games were played in Norfolk. Norfolk released Ian Shane from his ATO yesterday to make room for DiVincentiis.

Domenic DiVincentiis, 23, was drafted by the Winnipeg Jets in the seventh round of the 2022 NHL Draft. Along with playing in Norfolk, he’s played in 28 games with the Manitoba Moose during his rookie year. He’s put up a 13-12-3 record in Manitoba with a 2.84 GAA, .906SV%, and one shutout. Prior to going pro, he spent three years in the OHL with the North Bay Battalion. In 117 games with the Battalion, he put up a 77-26-7 record with a 2.68 GAA, .907SV%, and eight shutouts. During the 2022-23 season, he went 36-9-2 with a 2.33 GAA, .919SV%, and five shutouts. He would end up being named the OHL Goaltender of the Year and led the league in shutouts.
