The Canadian National Anthem (O Canada) was performed before Thursday's Canada-United States 4 Nations Face-Off game.
Chantal Kreviazuk performed the anthem before the U.S. national anthem was performed and fans on social media thought it was terrible.
"Butchered the Canadian national anthem. Might be one of the worst renditions I’ve ever heard. Goodness," one tweet read.
"This lady’s rendition of the Canadian anthem is a hell of a lot more offensive than booing," another tweet read.
"Chantal Kreviazuk with arguably the worst Canadian anthem performance ever," another tweet read.
"Never heard the Canadian Anthem butchered so hard before," another tweet read.
After the anthems were performed, the puck dropped and there were no fights to start the game. These two teams had three fights in the first nine seconds of last Saturday's game, which set the tone for the rest of the contest.
Canada opened the scoring in the first period, thanks to a seeing-eye shot from Nathan MacKinnon. There was a lot of traffic in front of Team USA goaltender Connor Hellebuyck and he had no chance on the goal.
This is a rematch of the round-robin game from last Saturday that Team USA won, 3-1. Jake Guentzel scored two goals and Dylan Larkin scored the game-winner in the second period.
The win clinched the U.S. a spot in Thursday's title game before Canada clinched its spot with a win over Finland on Monday.
This rematch will determine who takes home the 4 Nations trophy and will be the last international best-on-best game until the 2026 Winter Olympics next February.
You can watch the rest of this game on ESPN.
