International: Four Nations Faceoff Resets International Hockey Schedule
International: Is A Four-Nations Cup Coming in February 2025?
The Four Nations Faceoff will be a mini-tournament between the United States, Canada, Sweden, and Finland. It is currently scheduled for February 12 through 20 at the Bell Centre in Montreal and TD Garden in Boston.
The Bell Centre will host four round-robin games between Canada, the United States, Sweden, and Finland, highlighted by Canada and the United States on Saturday night, February 15th. The scene will shift to Boston and T.D. Garden for a President’s Day Doubleheader, similar to how the Beanpot is run with afternoon and evening games. T.D. Garden will host the Championship Game on Thursday, February 20th.
Each team will play three tournament games in a traditional Round-Robin format under the International points system: 3 points for a regulation win, 2 points for an overtime/shootout win, 1 point for a loss in overtime/shootout, and 0 points for a loss in regulation time. The two teams with the best tournament record will then advance to a one-game Final.
