Legendary NHL Star Has 'No Idea' Where Massachusetts Is

Former New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist will go down as one of the greatest goalies in NHL history.

He was a model of consistency throughout his NHL career and was fantastic with the Rangers before he retired in August of 2021. He played in his final game during the 2019-20 season and spent 15 seasons with the Rangers before they retired his number in January of 2022.

Lundqvist finished his career with a record of 459-310-96, a 2.43 goals-against average, and a .918 save percentage.

Even though he was great on the ice, he is terrible at geography. During TNT's coverage of Monday's United States-Sweden game, he and the rest of the intermission panel, including host Liam McHugh, were having a blast trying to find where some of the 4 Nations Face-Off were born until Lundqvist tried to find Boxford, Massachusetts.

Lundqvist was struggling to find the location before putting the arrow in Virginia.

Take a look:

Lundqvist played for the Rangers for 15 seasons and played against the Boston Bruins three times a season but still didn't know where Boxford was. He's going to have to brush up on some geography for the next time TNT does this segment.

TNT has televised some of the 4 Nations games and they have all been electric. The 4 Nations Face-Off will end this Thursday when the United States takes on Canada for the championship.

The U.S. beat Canada 3-1 in Montreal on Saturday night but Canada will look for some revenge when the two teams meet again in Boston. The U.S. hopes to get back some of their injured players but won't have defenseman Charlie McAvoy after he was hospitalized on Monday night.

Puck drop will be at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. Sean McDonough, Ray Ferraro, and Emily Kaplan will have the call.
