Seattle Kraken Announce Preseason Schedule
Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

On Wednesday morning, the Seattle Kraken announced their 2024-25 preseason schedule.

It consists of six games and starts out facing the Calgary Flames at Climate Pledge Arena on September 22nd, followed by home-and-home games with the Vancouver Canucks on September 24th and 27th. After that, the Kraken will hit the road to play the Edmonton Oilers on September 28th and the Calgary Flames again on the 30th. The preseason will wrap up with the Kraken heading back home to play the Oilers on October 2nd.

During the 2023-24 season, the Kraken faced the Oilers, Canucks, and Flames three times, each falling short in every game against the Oilers. However, they held a 2-1 record against the Canucks and the Flames. This will be the first time the Kraken will face the Canucks since February and the Oilers and Flames since March. Hopefully, with some roster moves over the summer, the Kraken will have a better record against the Oilers in the 2024-25 season.
