The Vegas Golden Knights are putting the final touches on things as the Stanley Cup playoffs inch ever closer. Today they announced that their main goaltender, Adin Hill, signs a six-year contract extension to stay. Hill has been tremendously consistent in his time in Las Vegas, and this contract rewards his efforts.
WAKE UP WE JUST SIGNED ADIN HILL TO A SIX-YEAR CONTRACT EXTENSION

Hill has more than proven himself, basically within just the last (almost) three full NHL seasons. Most recently, Hill had his time in the sun being a member of the 2025 4 Nations Face-Off champion Team Canada. That is despite not actually getting into any action, as Jordan Binnington ran the show for Team Canada. However, as for Hill and everyone else too, just being apart of the experience was invaluable.
This is additional to the fact that Hill was the backbone to the 2023 Golden Knights Stanley Cup run. With Logan Thompson being unavailable, initially Laurent Brossoit had the job. In contrast, as the playoffs wore on, it was Hill who got the call. Hill would be the goalie of record in the Golden Knights final 15 games that playoff. Moreover, Vegas was a very well constructed team and they found the consistent goaltending they needed just in the nick of time. That is play that Hill has maintained until this day.
As Adin signs this extension with the team, his numbers this year aren’t outstanding, but he remains playing at a high standard. He is 24-11-4 with four shutouts. Also, he carries a 2.53 GAA and a .906 SV%. The save percentage is just off his career rate of .909. According to moneypuck, if we filter on goalies with 15 games or more, Hill again shows his value. He currently ranks 13th with a 13.8 GSAx.
Vegas is hoping to nail down the Pacific Division crown and Hill’s play has been a large part of that. The Golden Knights are glad to have tidied up this little piece of business.
