The Milwaukee Bucks are focused on stopping Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in the NBA Cup final. They're getting torched by Isaiah Hartenstein instead.

Hartenstein made his first four shots early as the Oklahoma City Thunder jumped out to an early lead. The Bucks were playing center Brook Lopez in drop coverage, and Hartenstein responded by dropping in floaters a dozen feet from the basket.

With so much defensive focus on SGA, the Thunder responded by running pick-and-rolls and dribble handoffs with the massive Hartenstein getting OKC's guards free. First he got SGA an open jumper to start the scoring. On the next play, Hartenstein punished the defense for sticking to Gilgeous-Alexander by rolling for a dunk.

In six minutes, Hartenstein had eight points, two rebounds and a steal. He left the game with Oklahoma City leading 18-11, then the Bucks went on an 11-5 run when he sat. Hartenstein is the Thunder's sole true big man with Chet Holmgren still sidelined, which is invaluable against Lopez and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
For the first quarter, Hartenstein tied SGA with a game-high 10 points. The Bucks may have to rethink which player they're most afraid of.
