Watch: Florida's 7-foot-9 freshman has surreal moment after SEC title win

Olivier Rioux may not have played at all in his first season at Florida, but the massive freshman still made his presence felt following Sunday's win in the SEC Championship Game.

At 7-foot-9, Rioux is the tallest player in NCAA Division I basketball history. The Canada native took a redshirt year this season, but you could argue that he stole the show when the Gators cut down the net after beating Tennessee to win the SEC title.

While most players and coaches climb a ladder to snip off their piece of the net, Rioux didn't need any assistance. He effortlessly reached up with a pair of scissors to secure his piece of memorabilia.
