Watch: Night 1 of WrestleMania 41 ends with surprising twist

The triple threat main event that capped off Night 1 of WrestleMania was a star-studded showdown.

It was CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins. In what was the match of the night, Rollins came out on top, but not in the fashion that some may have envisioned.

As shown in the video above, Paul Heyman turned not only on Punk, who he walked with to the ring, but also Reigns. Reigns and Heyman have been tied together for almost five years, dating back to Reigns emergence as the "Tribal Chief" in late 2020.

Punk and Heyman go back to Punk's first run in the WWE that ended in 2014. The betrayal of Punk and Reigns by Heyman was absolutely shocking, and even more shocking was his alliance with Rollins, someone who has portrayed a disdain of Heyman for months upon months.

On Sunday, the second night of WrestleMania 41 will conclude with John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes for the WWE Undisputed Championship.

Cena and Rhodes will have quite the performance to live up to after the five-star classic put on by Rollins, Reigns and Punk.
