Pound for pound, New Balance Numeric has one of the heaviest teams out. They dropped Intervals this year with three of its top dogs (Jamie Foy, Tiago Lemos, and Brandon Westgate), and have steadily churned out edits and new shoe models and colorways consistently throughout the year. They just put out this 2024 recap video. We don't know how they managed to cram all their amazing footage into just five minutes, but you know this thing is packed with gold. Run it:
"Featuring: Marcello Campanello, Franky Villani, Andrew Reynolds, Pedro Biagio, Jordan Trahan, Tyler Surrey, Tom Karangelov, Justin Henry, Shaun Paul, Connor Reeve, Cato Dobbs, Sean Ryan, Wilton Souza, Tiago Lemos, Ronnie Kessner, Jasper , Patrick Praman, Brandon Westgate, and Jamie Foy"
The 480s definitely had their year in 2024. Will an Andrew Reynolds pro model be hitting shops in 2025? Good psych-funk here to score tricks by Marcello Campanello and the Boss. Not only is the team hard-hitting, they've locked down a perfect blend of diversity with their riders: Think Jordan Trahan comin' outta New Orleans no complying into backside tailslides, then they've got Tyler Surrey (killed it with that futsal shoe spot) still on top of his game from Barcelona to San Diego.
That Westgate Ollie! Tiago broke new ground at Gardner and of course Big Boy Foy closed it out. Helluva year.

Tyreek Hill has ignited a fresh wave of speculation about his future with some social media activity, and potential trade suitors have likely taken note. Hill had a series of cryptic posts on X Sunday that led many to believe he could seek a trade. The first hint came when a user posed a question asking if Miami Dolphins fans would be open to trading the star wide receiver. Hill responded with a smiley face emoji. Hill then found another post where a salary cap expert suggested Hill is a candidate to be traded during the NFL Draft. Hill reposted the prediction with a peace sign emoji. Hill had to have known how those responses would be interpreted. Remember, this is the same player who indicated he would leave the Dolphins after their season ended. While the two sides were said to have smoothed things over, no one would be shocked if Hill were to ask for a trade in the coming weeks. If Hill does want out of Miami, which teams might have interest in acquiring him? Here are five potential landing spots for the eight-time Pro Bowl selection: Los Angeles Chargers Ladd McConkey had an outstanding rookie season last year with 82 catches, 1,149 yards and seven touchdowns. The former Georgia star looks like a true No. 1 receiver, but the Chargers are not nearly as deep at the wide receiver position as they were in years past. L.A. reacquired Mike Williams in a trade with the New York Jets midway through last season, but the veteran had three or fewer catches in every game. Justin Herbert is one of the most talented quarterbacks in the NFL, and Hill's speed could add an element to the Chargers' offense that would be incredibly difficult to stop. Dallas Cowboys How long can Jerry Jones go without making a huge splash? The Cowboys need to sign Micah Parsons to an extension, but they could find a way to do that and add Hill. What better way to welcome new head coach Brian Schottenheimer than by gifting him with a wide receiver duo of Hill and CeeDee Lamb? Dak Prescott will turn 32 this summer. The quarterback has been banged up in recent years, and his prime will not last forever. You know Jones' eyes are going to light up if Hill wants a change of scenery. New England Patriots The Patriots just signed Stefon Diggs to a four-year, $69M deal, but the contract is a lot more team-friendly than it sounds. New England also still has nearly $70M in salary cap space, according to Spotrac. It can easily afford to take on Hill's $30M salary. If the Patriots want Drake Maye to make a second-year leap, they need to surround him with weapons. A duo of Diggs and Hill would turn New England's wide receiver room from one of the worst in the league to one of the best in a single offseason. Baltimore Ravens The Ravens signed DeAndre Hopkins this offseason, but he is the latest in a long line of past-their-prime wideouts who have landed in Baltimore. At 31, Hill is still playing his best football. Hill and Zay Flowers could do some serious damage in the same offense. The Ravens will always be run-first as long as Derrick Henry is healthy, but Hill is the type of player who could push them over the top. Kansas City Chiefs Hill has been open about the fact that he never wanted to leave Kansas City. He simply wanted a new contract, and the two sides could not reach an agreement. Hill has even left the door open for a return to the Chiefs. The Chiefs have solid receivers in Xavier Worthy and Rashee Rice, but the latter is working his way back from a major knee injury. Travis Kelce's best days are also behind him. If Kansas City wants to keep its Super Bowl appearance streak alive, adding Hill would be one way to instantly boost its chances.
The Boston Celtics are looking to repeat as NBA champions this season, and they believe they have a great chance to make it happen. Boston has been one of the best teams in the NBA once again this season, and if healthy, they will be favorites to win it all. More Celtics: Celtics' Jaylen Brown Talks Mental Challenges of Knee Injury But there are some looming questions around the roster going forward. Center Al Horford is older and could be playing in the final year of his career. If Horford were to retire, the Celtics would need to fill his production with another player. However, they should look no further than center Luka Kornet, who is already on the roster. Kornet has been growing his game of late and is proving that he deserves a chance with this team. On the season, he has averaged 5.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.0 blocks per game. The biggest part of Kornet's game that could have Boston give him more playing time is his consistency. From game to game, the Celtics know what they'll get from the big man, giving the coaching staff some peace of mind. If the Celtics were to give him a bigger role, it could serve them well. But with Horford in the mix right now, it's hard to hand out all the needed minutes. More Celtics news: Celtics GM Brad Stevens Breaks Silence on New Ownership But Horford has talked about retirement coming down the line, potentially opening the door for Kornet. Kornet will be a free agent this summer, so Boston would need to retain him, but the two sides seem to enjoy the pairing together. It remains to be seen what it would cost the Celtics to keep Kornet around, but the continuity could come in handy. This Boston team is looking to make a legacy, and having a core group of players together is one of the better ways to make that happen. For this season, the Celtics could benefit from giving Kornet some extra minutes with the postseason coming up. Horford showed last year that he couldn't always guard players in the postseason so Boston could look to Kornet to help out. Every team has to make tough choices in the playoffs. Some clubs are so deep that sitting deserving players is a reality, and the Toronto Maple Leafs are not immune to that situation. NHL analyst Justin Bourne of Sportsnet recently suggested the team might be leaving a near 30-goal NHL scorer in Nick Robertson out of their post-season lineup to start this season’s playoff run. Over the course of his NHL career, Nick Robertson has scored 29 goals. He’s had issues with consistency, but he’s played relatively few games with only 149 regular-season contests on his NHL resume. He has 12 goals this season, and he can score. But that might not be enough. Bourne believes Maple Leafs coach Craig Berube will go with someone with more size and physicality, which would make Roberston a healthy scratch. Who Plays Game 1 for the Maple Leafs If Not Nick Robertson? Bourne said he couldn’t find a reason to choose Robertson over other options. He explained this during the Real Kyper Bourne show on March 26: “Every time I make a lineup, like this is what it looks like, it doesn’t have Robertson in it, and I like Robertson. I think I have been fairly Robertson praising this year, but it is tough for me to see that spot in Game 1.” Instead, Bourne thinks the Leafs will go with someone like Pontus Holmberg. Describing him as someone “heavy”, Bourne said he competes, he forchecks, he hits. Nick Kypreos seemed to agree. He added, “Unfortunately for Robertson… heart of gold, skates really fast, never quits on pucks… bounces off of a people a lot.” Bourne did admit the scratching wouldn’t be permanent. “I would be shocked if you don’t see Nick Robertson in Game 3, likely Game 2, but I don’t think he will be there in Game 1.” Sam McKee argued that Robertson has earned his way out of the scratch rotations and the Maple Leafs are desperate for additional scoring from anyone other than their stars. “Who else in the bottom six is a threat?” quipped McKee.
The college basketball transfer portal officially opened on Monday, just hours after the Sweet 16 field was finalized. It didn't take long for players to enter, and over 1,150 players entered within the first two days. The No. 5 seed Michigan Wolverines saw freshman Justin Pippen enter even though Michigan is in the Sweet 16. While there are a ton of players in the portal, one NCAA Tournament team has lost its entire starting lineup after a new entry on Friday. That team is Robert Morris, which was a No. 15 seed and lost to No. 2 Alabama in the Round of 64. Entering Friday, Robert Morris had already seen each of Kam Woods, Josh Omojafo, Alvaro Folgueiras, and Amarion Dickerson enter the portal. Then, D.J. Smith entered, per Adam Borst of Robert Morris Sports Now. "All five of the Robert Morris starters from its Horizon League Championship team are now in the transfer portal as guard D.J. Smith entered on Friday," Borst wrote. Robert Morris won the Hroizon League tournament to capture an automatic bid, but now theColonials are facing a ton of change just a week after the NCAA Tournament exit. Smith now enters for the third time. He began his career at Little Rock for two years, then played at Bowling Green in 2023-24 and spent this past season at Robert Morris. Smith was fifth on the team in scoring with 9.1 points and 3.2 assists. This was Robert Morris' first NCAA Tournament trip since 2015, and now the Colonials have to replace their entire starting lineup in a tough turn of events.
