Comedian Matt Lyons, famous for his clichéd portrayals of characters in the outdoor world from "people who live in a schoolbus" to "people who skied Jackson Hole once" always hit a little bit close to home.

This time, he has turned his sights to people who "ski with a speaker."

Listen (pun intended) there are Bluetooth Speakers on the mountain. Love 'em or hate 'em, they're out there. If you have your own headphones in under your helmet, you're probably blissfully oblivious to the sounds of whatever music someone else feels like listening to on your run.

However, it seems as if there is an inverse correlation between skier skill and probability of carrying a bluetooth speaker in a backpack on the chairlift, but then again, skiers with backpacks always look cooler than skiers without (and I say that as someone who doesn't often wear a backpack to the resort, unless the snow is particularly risky).

Lyons, as his character named "JBL" jokes, "I've never even touched a pair of headphones. My mom got me a pair back in 2011, but I immediately threw the box in her driveway and backed over them with her Chevy XL."

To play devil's advocate for a second, it is technically safer to ski with a speaker as opposed to earbuds in, because you can hear people around you and they can definitely hear you.

However, is it annoying? Absolutely.

When the comedian jokes that these people "love the sound of silence, too" and throw some Simon and Garfunkel on in the glades for a "complete religious experience," things start to get real.

I have to admit there's nothing like skiing with a house music mix on, or any song from Mosca. If anyone feels the need to bring a speaker to the resort, if you play this song, I won't even be mad.

I can't save you from the other hundred people in the lift line who are, though.
