Washington skiers rejoice—ski season isn't over yet!

Washington's largest ski area by skiable acres, Crystal Mountain, has extended its season until May 26, 2025.

Thanks to the 5+ feet of snow they've gotten in March alone, Crystal's snowpack is in good shape and has allowed them to stay open longer. The resort announced via social media that it will be open daily until April 20th and then on weekends only until May 26th.

Crystal Mountain is about an hour and a half from Seattle and known for the incredible views of Mt. Rainier and Washington's four other volcanoes on clear days. The mountain has 2,600 skiable acres over 2,400 of vertical drop and has a wide variety of terrain on and off piste, made better by significant PNW snowfall.

If another month of spring skiing in the PNW isn't enough of a celebration, the mountain also has a handful of events through the spring season. Crystal is hosting a number of clinics at the end of March and through April including intro to backcountry touring workshop, the Uphill Weekend backcountry education event, an Avy dog education day, and a Junior Ski Patrol day hosted by SheJumps.

The resort is also taking advantage of spring weather après and throwing weekly Summit Snow Beach Parties, and a pond skim will take place on April 20th to celebrate the end of the regular season. In true PNW fashion, banked slalom race will take place on the mountain's first 'bonus weekend' (April 26-27).

Crystal Mountain will keep guests updated on lift operations and conditions throughout the extended season. Parking reservations are still required as well.
