A 26-year-old snowboarder has been missing from Vail Mountain since February 14. Here’s what we know so far.
Connor Gill is from the Denver metropolitan area, roughly 100 miles away from Vail.
Connor was wearing an orange ski suit with blue accents on the top. He was wearing a grey helmet, and riding a Salomon snowboard. He is 6’ tall and weighs 195 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
Connor was last seen at Vail’s Avanti Express chairlift around 8:50 a.m. on February 14. He was reporting missing to ski patrol by his skiing partner around 3:15 p.m.
The Vail Communication Center was alerted of a missing snowboarder at 4:30 p.m.
The Vail Mountain Rescue team and Vail Ski Patrol both responded to the area near the Avanti Express chairlift. Vail Police are also assisting.
The region was hit by a snow storm that dropped more than two feet of snow throughout parts of Vail.
