Gianluigi Donnarumma has been attached to Inter in recent times amid a seesawing negotiation to extend his PSG contract, which lasts until 2026. His agent Enzo Raiola cleared the air talking with Chiamarsi Bomber (via 90min).
“There haven’t been any contacts with them or other clubs. PSG expressed their will to continue with him, and he’s on the same page. If he’ll ever be put on the market, he won’t have trouble finding suitors. However, the door isn’t open in such a direction at the moment. We’ll make our evaluations if something changes in the next few months.”
Raiola updated on how the contract talks are going.
“Donnarumma is the PSG and Italy goalie and is liked by many sides as natural. We started conversing last summer and are working toward our goal very serenely. The team is correcting its wage policy in light of the UEFA rules. They are slashing their previous €500M payroll in half. We have accepted it, and we’re negotiating the renewal trying to find the best possible solution, but we aren’t in a rush for now.”
Inter director Piero Ausilio was asked about Donnarumma in an interview with Mediaset (via Calciomercato).
“We’d obviously be very interested if he left on a Bosman move. However, 2026 seems so far now, and I don’t think PSG will let him go.”
The 26-year-old joined the Ligue 1 champions for free after leaving Milan in 2021.
If he has trouble coming to terms with PSG, it’s hard to imagine any Serie A team will be able to meet his demands.

Pittsburgh Steelers team president Art Rooney II in late January told the media that the quarterback decision was between Russell Wilson and Justin Fields. Fast forward, and Fields is with the New York Jets, while it appears Pittsburgh has little to no interest in bringing Wilson back for 2025. Many Steelers media personalities are left scratching their heads, wondering what exactly happened in the months between those initial statements and now. Did Rooney simply say what was expected of him, as the professional and respectable owner he is, or did something change behind the scenes? Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo addressed this mystery on "The Pomp and Joe Show" on Friday. He shed light on the situation, revealing that he believes something significant shifted within the organization. According to Fittipaldo, it wasn’t just a change in perception; something internal must have led to the shift in direction for the Steelers' quarterback strategy. He speculated that Arthur Smith and Mike Tomlin may have had some very real conversations that led to the shift in strategy. Tomlin appeared to be very high on Wilson, with reports even suggesting he was leading the charge to bring him back. However, Smith didn’t seem as pleased with that direction. "At some point between late January and the lead up until the legal tampering period, something changed within that building," Fittipaldo said. "We do know a couple of things. We know Russell Wilson and Arthur Smith had some issues last year." While Fittipaldo isn't entirely certain, he does know that Wilson and Smith's issues became apparent as the season concluded. It's been widely reported that the two had a strained working relationship, and Fittipaldo ultimately believes this tension led to Tomlin having a key conversation. Out of respect for Smith, the team began to move away from the idea of bringing Wilson back for 2025. "They were able to work through them to get through the season, but there were underlying issues that were reported afterward," Fittipaldo said. "Did Arthur Smith go to Mike Tomlin and say 'Maybe I can work with him again, but is there a better solution?'" Many Steelers fans view Tomlin as stubborn and resistant to change, while others trust him to make the right decisions. However, it’s clear that the possibility of bringing Wilson back started to feel increasingly unlikely after Rooney spoke to the media. It seemed like something significant shifted within the building, and Fittipaldo would agree with that sentiment. Now, the Steelers find themselves in a difficult position. They don’t currently have a starting quarterback on the roster. While they brought Mason Rudolph back after a year with the Tennessee Titans, there’s little confidence that he should be the starter. Just a couple of weeks ago, the Steelers' interest had started to shift toward other quarterbacks, including Matthew Stafford via trade, Sam Darnold and now Aaron Rodgers. All of these options began surfacing just two months after Rooney’s comments to the media. That’s why Fittipaldo believes a serious conversation took place between Tomlin, Smith and other coaches, where they decided they simply couldn’t afford to try Wilson again. With the Steelers’ playoff hopes on the line, the team realized that bringing back Wilson could lead to further instability. This led to a shift in focus toward finding a more reliable quarterback for the 2025 season. The Steelers view Rodgers as that. Steelers are in a difficult spot at quarterback However, the Steelers are now in a difficult spot, with no clear starter on the roster. While Rudolph offers some familiarity, there’s little confidence in his ability to lead the team. The shift toward quarterbacks like Stafford, Darnold and Rodgers shows the urgency of the situation. The Steelers need a solution fast to avoid another season of uncertainty. Stafford ended up not getting traded, and Darnold signed with the Seattle Seahawks. Pittsburgh's options are running thin. The pressure is mounting on Tomlin and the front office to make the right call. The success of the Steelers in 2025 and beyond will depend on how they address the quarterback position. As the offseason unfolds, Steelers fans are anxiously watching to see if the team can secure a quarterback who can lead them back to playoff contention.
The Cleveland Browns possess the second overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. They are likely hoping that Miami's Cam Ward, the "consensus" No. 1 quarterback in this year's class, remains available after the Tennessee Titans make their selection with the first overall pick. However, Browns insider Tony Grossi of ESPN Cleveland/The Land on Demand and NFL reporter Darryl Slater of NJ Advance Media for NJ.com believe the Titans will take Ward with the draft's top pick. Thus, Grossi predicted in his latest mock draft that the Browns will trade their No. 2 selection to the New York Giants for pick No. 3 and choice No. 65 this year, along with a 2026 third-round pick. Grossi thinks this could result in the Giants taking Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders at No. 2 and the Browns landing Ole Miss signal-caller Jaxson Dart with the third pick. Following the NFL Scouting Combine, some speculated that the Browns could select Sanders with the second pick and that the Giants would "reach" for Dart at No. 3. Sanders has been linked with the Giants since at least December. Still, numerous reports revealed that some teams don't view him as a first-round prospect after he allegedly "hit the wrong notes in combine interviews." Perhaps there's reason to believe the Browns are one of those clubs. As of Thursday afternoon, the Giants and Browns continued to be mentioned as potential landing spots for veteran quarterbacks such as Aaron Rodgers, Russell Wilson and Kirk Cousins, even though the Atlanta Falcons seem serious about not releasing Cousins anytime soon. Grossi wrote that "signing either Cousins or Wilson might be the clearest signal yet of the Browns taking a position player other than quarterback with their first pick," and ESPN's Field Yates thinks Cleveland could draft Colorado wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter over both Sanders and Dart. Interestingly, Dart's supposed rise in draft stock has coincided with Sanders sliding down the board in mock drafts. It's difficult to know what to believe during the draft process's "smokescreen season," but it's worth noting that NFL insider Connor Hughes of SNY shared on March 5 that at least "one team source" had Dart ranked ahead of Sanders following the combine. It remains to be seen if the Browns or Giants would be bold enough to select Dart over Sanders with the second pick in the draft.
Everyone has been discussing the Pittsburgh Steelers' quarterback situation and who will lead the team in 2025. The Steelers' strategy of obtaining two quarterbacks, Russell Wilson and Justin Fields, at a bargain price was widely praised last year. Nevertheless, those were just one-year deals, and now Fields is gone. The Steelers have to figure out now what they're doing with Wilson or if they will look at free agency or the 2025 NFL Draft. To ensure they have some options for the backup position, they signed quarterback Skylar Thompson to a futures contract several weeks ago, who used to back up Tua Tagovailoa. They also brought quarterback Mason Rudolph back to Pittsburgh. Amidst the ongoing speculation and questions surrounding the starting quarterback position, NFL analyst Mike Florio seems to know what the Steelers will decide via his recent discussion on Pro Football Talk. "I know who they're gonna end up with, I'm looking at him right now, Jameis Winston. If they don't sign [Aaron] Rodgers, they are going to go with Jameis Winston," said Florio. Florio and co-host Chris Simms engaged in a detailed discussion regarding the Steelers' quarterback options. During their conversation, Florio and Simms expressed specific concerns about Aaron Rodgers, who has emerged as a leading candidate for the starting quarterback position. It has been widely reported that the Steelers have extended an offer to Rodgers and are awaiting his decision. Other teams vying for Rodgers have raised significant concerns for Florio and Simms. Florio's confident declaration regarding the Steelers' decision has not been widely discussed in other media outlets. "He can at least get the ball down the field to DK Metcalf," Florio continued about Winston. This revelation follows the Steelers' recent acquisition of star wide receiver DK Metcalf, securing him with a substantial five-year, $150 million contract. Metcalf is widely recognized for his exceptional ability to catch deep passes, a skill that could potentially align perfectly with the throwing capabilities of quarterback Jameis Winston. Winston, who has accumulated experience playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints, and most recently, the Cleveland Browns, an AFC North division rival, demonstrated his resilience last season. Winston stepped into the starting role after Browns' quarterback Deshaun Watson suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in Week 7. During his time as a starter, Winston recorded 2,121 passing yards, 13 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Notably, in Week 13, Winston etched his name into Browns' record books by setting a new franchise record for his single-game passing yards with 497. However, this performance was marked by three interceptions, including two pick-sixes, highlighting the inherent risk-reward nature of his playing style. This game, in particular, vividly illustrated Winston's powerful arm and propensity for deep throws, characteristics that could integrate effectively with Metcalf's deep-threat abilities. Head coach Mike Tomlin's well-known aversion to quarterbacks prone to turnovers is the primary obstacle to the Steelers acquiring Winston. Winston's history of interceptions raises serious concerns regarding trust and reliability, which are paramount in Tomlin's quarterback selection process. Despite these potential reservations, Winston holds Tomlin and the Steelers organization in high regard. During an appearance on the popular "Pardon My Take" podcast, Winston openly expressed his admiration for Tomlin and the Steelers. "If that opportunity presents itself, I would love to team up with Coach Mike Tomlin," Winston said. The combination of mutual respect between Winston and the Steelers organization and a skill set that appears to complement the team's offensive direction for the upcoming season suggests that Winston's potential acquisition should not be dismissed. Steelers and Winston could be perfect fit He is now a free agent, opening the door for potential negotiations. His extensive NFL experience, dating back to 2015, positions him as a valuable mentor for younger quarterbacks, while his recent backup roles indicate a potential willingness to accept a financially advantageous contract. The Browns' recent signing of former Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett, who still hopes to be a starter, further incentivizes Winston to seek a new team.
The No. 1 Duke Blue Devils are having a remarkable season under head coach Jon Scheyer, but it was the legendary Mike Krzyzewski who left the program in a strong position before passing the torch to Scheyer in 2022. There aren’t many coaches in the history of basketball with a résumé quite like Krzyzewski’s. He coached at two schools throughout his career: starting at Army and later spending a legendary tenure at Duke. Krzyzewski amassed a jaw-dropping 1,129-309 record with the Blue Devils, leading them to five national championships, 13 Final Fours, 15 ACC Tournament titles, and 13 ACC regular-season titles. While Krzyzewski experienced a mostly successful career, he also faced some heartbreak. On Friday, during his SiriusXM podcast "Basketball Beyond", he opened up about the losses he considers the toughest over his incredible 42-season run at Duke. "That's easy, when you lose in a national championship game," Krzyzewski said. "We've been in nine, we lost in four. One we lost really bad, but the other three were the toughest losses because you're right there. One or two plays, 1986, 1994, 1999 for me." In 1986, the Blue Devils suffered a tough loss to the Louisville Cardinals. Despite leading by three at halftime, Duke was outscored 38-32 in the second half and lost a hard-fought game. In 1994, they fell to the Arkansas Razorbacks in a matchup just 145 miles from Duke's campus, effectively making it a "home game" for Arkansas. Lastly, in 1999, Duke was upset by the Connecticut Huskies, ending a 32-game win streak and marking a bitter defeat for Krzyzewski and his squad.
