The Chicago Red Stars announced their end-of-year roster decisions on Tuesday as the NWSL offseason has finally hit full swing.
Camryn Biegalski has signed a one-year extension through the 2025 NWSL season. Biegalski joined Chicago ahead of the 2024 season from the Washington Spirit.
Nádia Gomes had her 2025 contract option declined by Chicago but has re-signed with the club on a deal through March 25, 2025.
Chicago also announced that they are in contract negotiations with Sarah Griffith after the club declined her 2025 contract option earlier in the year.
Chicago signed goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher and defender Hannah Anderson to new deals during the season.
Contract options that were exercised earlier in the year:
Taylor Malham, Ava Cook and Bea Franklin.
Contract option declined, free agents:
Ally Cook, Sarah Griffith, Sydney Schneider, Tatumn Milazzo and Maxi Rall.
Contract expired, free agents:
Julia Bianchi and Sophie Jones.
Loan expired, returned to parent club:
Rosella Ayane.
