Juventus defender Renato Veiga has returned to group training and is expected to be available for a Serie A game against Atalanta on Sunday.
The Portugal international suffered a muscle injury during a Champions League game against PSV in mid-February.
Veiga had been training separately for the last few weeks, but Sky Sport Italia and Romeo Agresti report he completed a full training session with the rest of the team on Friday.
It’s a much-needed injury boost for Thiago Motta, especially because Federico Gatti continued training separately just two days before a crucial home game against Atalanta.
The Bianconeri sit fourth in the table, three points below their next rivals.
Juventus have recently suffered painful eliminations from the Champions League and Coppa Italia but won five consecutive Serie A matches, moving just six points below table leaders Inter.
Veiga has made five appearances with Juventus since joining the Bianconeri on loan from Chelsea in the January transfer window.
