While most people knew it was coming, Gouging Fire, aka Paradox Entei, was still a big surprise to see for the first time in the Indigo Disk. This much more wild and savage-looking version of the legendary beast is a must-catch for any Pokémon fan, and thankfully players of Scarlet can do just that once they have completed Perrin’s quest in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.

We’ll explain where to find Gouging Fire and how to catch it once you track it down.

How to find and catch Gouging Fire in the Indigo Disk Pokémon DLC

After seeing Perrin’s photo, you’ll likely notice it’s pretty high up in Area Zero. Starting from the standard Area Zero entry point, fly directly across to the other side of the area – to the highest clifftop with a waterfall and a broken radar dish on top. You can check out how to unlock flying in the Indigo Disk Pokémon DLC at that link if you haven’t already.

Gouging Fire will be sitting in the area on top of that cliff, and you can engage it in battle and attempt to capture it like you would any wild Pokémon.
