Destiny 2: Revenant Acts 2 & 3 Launch Dates

Revenant is the latest Episode in Destiny 2 that is a part of The Final Shape expansion. Episodes were introduced in this expansion to replace the seasonal model that had been in the game for the last four years. The player base had grown tired of this model and in an attempt to innovate the model, Bungie introduced Episodes. Episodes are 4 months long and each of them comes with its own story and activities. Each Episode comes with way more weapons as compared to the various seasons before.

How Acts Work in Episodes

Every Episode is 4 months long and in order to keep things fresh and exciting, Bungie introduced the concept of Acts. Each Act comes with brand-new content that is related to that specific Episode. There are three Acts in each Episode, with the first one launching with the launch of the Episode. Each of these comes with a new activity, new weapons, as well as new story development. A new Act launches about 40 days after the previous one.

With Revenant launching on October 8, 2024, the rest of the Acts are set to release 42 days after one another. Act 2 will be released on November 19, 2024, and will be followed by Act 3 on January 7, 2025. It is not yet clear or officially announced what each Act will bring in terms of content. Bungie also does a livestream a week or day before each Act release going over all the upcoming content. So, players will have to wait at least a week before the release dates to get any official confirmations.

What will be Releasing

There is no official confirmation about what will be released in Acts 2 and 3 of Destiny 2 Revenant. However, there are some hints present in the game thanks to the text present on various Tonic and their ingredients. These were released in this Episode and mentioned some activities that are not in the game yet. There were also some tease from the Bungie side, during their livestream about the Revenant Episode.

In Act 2, players will have access to 101-150 content of the season pass. This will allow players to obtain the Exotic Catalyst for Alethonym. It is One for All, which will take this already great Exotic to another level. There is also another activity coming in Act 2 that is inspired by the beloved Prison of Elders which was released back during the House of Wolves expansion in the original Destiny game. This activity is called Tomb of Elders and more details are unknown.

Not much is known about what Act 3 will bring except that it will feature another Exotic mission. Like Echoes, this mission will likely bring the story to an end with us taking care of Fikrul the main antagonist of this Episode. It has also been leaked that the new Exotic will be a Scout Rifle, whose functionality will revolve around the True Sight mechanic.
