If you’re a fan of The Seven Deadly Sins anime, you’re practically being spoiled. After the original anime and manga wrapped up and with a sequel series airing, fans are about to get more excited about the brand new open-world RPG called The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, which is officially coming to you.
Though details are under wraps, early posts and teasers from the game’s official account on X gave us a peek of what’s to come. The posts and teasers introduced a fresh story set different from the main plot in the same Seven Deadly Sins universe, with amazing and innovative artwork that captures the true essence of the fantasy world’s charm and energy.
So, suppose you’ve ever dreamed of exploring Britannia at your own pace, diving into epic quests, and uncovering a new adventure alongside familiar legends. In that case, Origin might just be your next obsession.
The torch has officially been passed. The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse introduces a fresh lineup of heroes, continuing the legacy in a new chapter of this beloved fantasy universe. Among these rising stars is Tristan, the son of Meliodas, who appears to take centre stage in the upcoming open-world RPG, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin.
According to early details and teasers from the game’s official X account, Tristan may play a central—possibly even conflicted—role in the story. The game’s description invites players to “join Tristan on a new adventure to fix the distorted timelines with the Book of Stars, hinting at a time-travel plotline that could reshape the events fans know and love.
From what’s been shown so far, Origin might allow players to revisit key moments from the anime and manga, only with a twist—something’s gone wrong, and it’s up to you to set it right. In one trailer, we even see gameplay featuring Meliodas himself, confirming that players will step back into the shoes of the original protagonist for part of the journey.
With Season 2 of Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse now wrapped and the manga currently on pause, this game could be just the thing to keep fans immersed in the world of Britannia. Publisher Netmarble has launched a teaser website, though for now, details remain scarce. But if the glimpses so far are any indication, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin might just be the next big adventure we’ve all been waiting for.
