For their second and final pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, the Las Vegas Aces selected Harmoni Turner of Harvard.
The Harvard guard was selected at No. 35. Becoming only the fourth player from Harvard drafted to the WNBA.
Turner had her best season during her time at Harvard. She led the team to their best regular season in school history. Turner racked up the accolades last season as she was named the Women’s Basketball Ivy League Player of the Year, averaging 22.5 points, 2.8 steals, and 3.4 assists per game.
Last season, Turner carried her team in Ivy Madness with a 44-point performance.
She also helped her team win the Ivy League Championship and helping to punch her team’s ticket to the NCAA Tournament, a first since 2007.
With her selection in the draft, Harmoni Turner joins Allison Feaster in 1998 as the second player from Harvard to be drafted without playing for another team in college.
Turner was projected a second-round pick in the draft. ESPN predicted her to go at No. 19.
Before making her official draft announcement, Turner said, “Every challenge, every setback, and every triumph has led me here.”
“The grind doesn’t stop, and the dream never fades. It only gets stronger,” Turner continued.
Harmoni Turner will be a great addition for the Aces on the perimeter along with Alabama product Aaliyah Nye, drafted at No. 13.
