Angel Reese Shares Update After Met Gala Move

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese is booked and busy with her on0 and off-the-court duties, among which is being part of the 2025 Met Gala.

In anticipation of the much-awaited fashion event, the WNBA star teased fans with an update on her social media.

In a post on her Instagram Stories, the former LSU standout sparked curiosity with her reveal.

The photo featured a note that read “ANGEL MET 2025” which hints that it was about the annual event.

On top of this, her post included a “Meeting Time” GIF, representing her involvement in planning discussions and her active role in the 2025 Met Gala.

In February, Vogue announced this year's theme and the individuals who will be part of the event.

The upcoming Met Gala will spotlight the theme “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” with the honorary chair being Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.

Joining the NBA star as his co-chair are Lewis Hamilton, Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams and, of course, Vogue’s Anna Wintour.

Meanwhile, Reese is joined by fellow athletes like Simone Biles and Chicago Bears star Jonathan Owens as part of the committee, along with singer Tyla, award-winning actress Regina King and many others.

This means fans will get to see Reese strut the red carpet once again. The 2025 Met Gala is set to take place on May 5 at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

It can be recalled that the Sky forward had her Met Gala debut in 2024.

All eyes were on her as she walked in a seafoam green Marco Capaldo mini dress with a low neckline and feathered ballerina-style skirt.
