Ever since Caitlin Clark was drafted by the Indiana Fever, she has grown close to her teammate Lexie Hull. The two have done several off-court activities together, from reviewing drinks, being mermaids and even vacationing together in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

In short, one can say that they have become the best of friends. Clark often trolls Hull on social media as well, further highlighting the bond they share.

So, when Hull officially announced her engagement to her boyfriend, former baseball player Will Matthiessen, Clark herself couldn't contain her emotions.

Aside from commenting on Hull's post on Instagram, the Fever All-Star also took to her Instagram Stories to share the news. While she didn't write anything on her post, Clark did use heart on fire, purple heart and loudly crying face emojis to express what she's feeling for her friend.

It remains to be seen when Lexie Hull and her now fiancé will tie the knot, but sure enough, it's safe to assume that Caitlin Clark will be there—considering how close they are.

For what it's worth, several other members of the WNBA community reacted to Hull's announcement, such as Los Angeles Sparks star Cameron Brink, who wrote, "I love you both so much!!!"

Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese, who teamed up with Hull in Unrivaled, also sent a message, saying, "GO BIG LEXIEEEEEE SO HAPPY FOR YOU."

The Fever, for their part, also shared a separate post to congratulate their player for the significant life milestone.

"congrats to @lexiehulll and her fiancé on their engagement!" the team wrote.

With the WNBA season starting soon, Hull's focus will be on the new campaign. However, fans can probably still expect some personal updates from the 25-year-old guard about her wedding planning throughout the year.
