Since her college basketball days at Maryland and LSU, Reese has consistently maintained a strong presence on and off the court.

Now preparing for her second season with the Chicago Sky, the "Bayou Barbie" is also gearing up to celebrate a major milestone.

The 7th overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft is set to turn 23 in May and she wants to celebrate with her fans.

Angel Reese on her official Instagram account posted "Angel Reese Y2K 23rd Birthday Party sponsored by @juicycouture . Hidden Gem05-03-2025Tickets on Sale Now LINK IN BIO@gmc_aloe@stefhannah@smokeymoe47"

Reese played her high school basketball at St. Frances Academy, in Baltimore, Maryland. She was also a member of the volleyball team. Her senior season, she was named the High School Female Athlete of the Year by the Baltimore Sun.

When she announced her commitment to Maryland, she became the highest-ranked recruit in program history. She chose the Terrapins over South Carolina, USC, and Tennessee. After two seasons at Maryland, she entered the transfer portal and ultimately chose LSU.

In her first season with the Sky, she appeared in 34 games, averaging 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds per game. Chicago finished with a losing record of 13-27.

Recently, Chicago made headlines with the draft selection of Hailey Van Lith from TCU.

Van Lith and Reese previously played together at LSU and will now reunite in Chicago. The Sky are aiming to return to the WNBA Finals for the first time since winning the title in 2021.
