The WNBA preseason is less than two weeks away, and the Indiana Fever are set to play their first game on May 3. Their regular-season opener is scheduled for May 17, when they face off against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky in what is expected to be one of the most anticipated matchups of the early season.

Excitement is also building around Caitlin Clark’s return to the court following her stellar rookie campaign, during which she captured Rookie of the Year honors, was named a WNBA All-Star, and led the Fever to their first postseason appearance since 2016.

Before returning to action, Clark has had a busy offseason, making appearances at numerous major sporting events, including the Masters and both of the Indiana Pacers' home playoff games.

On Thursday, another update came from Ascension St. Vincent Sports Performance, which announced that Clark was welcomed to their Ministry Leaders' Retreat. There, she spoke about leadership, inspiring the next generation, and more. Clark has been a part of their team since being drafted by Indiana.

"We were honored to welcome women's basketball Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark to our Ministry Leaders' Retreat. Caitlin shared insights on leadership, encouraging the next generation, building confidence and playing to a team's strength. We're so thankful Caitlin is on our team."

Clark has certainly made the most of her offseason away from basketball, and after averaging 19.2 points, a league-leading 8.4 assists, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.3 steals during her rookie campaign, the anticipation for her second season is palpable.

With the Fever’s upgraded roster and the addition of new head coach Stephanie White, expectations are the highest they've been in a long time in Indiana.
