Star Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier made TIME Magazine's list of the 100 most influential people of 2025, which the organization published on Wednesday.

Collier and fellow WNBA star Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty made the list for their efforts founding Unrivaled, a women's professional 3-on-3 basketball league. The league recently got an investment from Paige Bueckers, a Minnesota native and Hopkins High School graduate who was recently selected No. 1 in the WNBA draft.

Unrivaled just completed its inaugural season and featured six teams. It was created in part to allow WNBA players to compete domestically during the league's offseason.

The league also offers generous pay; according to ESPN, Bueckers, who will play in the Unrivaled league next season, is expected to make more in her first year for its 10-week season than she will over the duration of her four-year rookie WNBA contract.

"Unrivaled makes female athletes think about everything differently. It’s not always just take the salary and sign on the dotted line and be happy," wrote Alex Morgan, the former U.S. soccer star. "Sometimes you can just do it yourself better. That’s what (Collier) and (Stewart) did here. The launch of Unrivaled will go down in history as a pivotal moment for continuing the tidal wave of momentum in women’s sports."

Collier and Stewart were under the "pioneers" category on the list. Other categories include artists, icons, leaders, titans and innovators.

Collier and the Lynx open their preseason on May 6 at the Chicago Sky.
