  • AEW confirms deal with Amazon Prime Video for airing PPVs starting with AEW Revolution on March 9th.
  • Fans in the US, Canada, and the UK can watch future AEW PPVs on Prime Video.
  • Pricing details revealed: PPVs will cost $49.99.

With AEW making the deal they have with Warner Bros to put Dynamite and past PPV events on the Max streaming service, a question has been left about where fans will be able to watch current PPV as they air. Today, that has officially been announced as the AEWPress account on social media has confirmed the new home for upcoming AEW PPVs.

The distribution deal will be available to everyone in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, starting with AEW Revolution on March 9th.

AEW PPVs Will Be On Amazon Prime

On social media, AEW has confirmed that their PPVs will now air via Amazon Prime Video. The release statement confirms this is a multi-year agreement that will start with AEW Revolution on March 9th. It will cover the distribution for the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada.

The statement also has a quote from AEW CEO Tony Khan which states, "We are thrilled to work with Prime Video to bring all AEW pay-per-view events to their incredible service, marking a major milestone in the continued expansion of AEW's global reach". It confirms that everything from Revolution, Dynasty, Double or Nothing, Full Gear, and more will become available to the service.

We Know The Price Of AEW PPVs On Amazon Prime

Pricing wasn't immediately mentioned in this release statement, and instead it was made confusing as there was a line saying "no added cost". Luckily, Jon Alba of The Takedown On SI was able to confirm that the PPV pricing will be $49.99, similar to purchasing said PPV on other streaming services.

Through The Takedown On SI, we are able to understand why AEW chose Amazon for this venture. It was reported that the number of people using the Amazon payment option for PPVs through the Bleacher Report app was a motivating factor in getting the shows straight on Amazon Prime Video.
