Cody Rhodes Gives Blunt Warning to Travis Scott

Cody Rhodes is currently the unrivaled face of professional wrestling. Even with the business going through a modern renaissance, with WWE having its most loaded roster in history and AEW providing a viable alternative, Rhodes is simply operating on a different playing field.

Right now, Rhodes is in a sizzling angle with John Cena that will culminate in a dream bout at WrestleMania 41. The angle has been flawless the last few weeks, but there has been one major plot hole. When Cena turned heel at Elimination Chamber, he got help from The Rock and Travis Scott but hasn't factored into the program since. Rhodes hasn't forgotten and delivered a blunt message to the hip-hop mogul.

In a recent interview with Complex, Rhodes addressed Scott, giving him a nasty shiner on his eye and injuring his eardrum. "That's wrestling," Rhodes said. "I am not mad so much, but I am looking, and my eyes are open for what we inevitably, what we'll call a receipt."

Scott is the latest celebrity to step into the squared circle but has yet to have an official match. We've seen another music superstar, Bad Bunny, impress in the ring in recent years during some spot appearances. Perhaps a Bunny and Rhodes vs. Scott and Cena showdown could be in the works somewhere down the line.

Rhodes getting his lick back on Scott would not only be appropriate but surely create plenty of mainstream buzz. Could you imagine the social media traction if Rhodes clocked Scott with a stiff right and then hit him with a CrossRhodes?
