A "WWE Raw" superstar who was sidelined during "WrestleMania 41" season is back.

The "Monday Night Raw" following "WrestleMania" featured a bevy of surprises. Rusev made his first WWE appearance in five years. Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and Roxanne Perez of "WWE NXT" also appeared on the show.

Another big surprise occurred during an in-ring promo from newly minted World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso. During Uso's speech, his friend Sami Zayn made a stunning appearance.

Zayn told Uso how proud he is of him. He called "Main Event" his brother, and he said Uso deserves the title that was around his shoulder.

Zayn had been out of action since the "Elimination Chamber" PLE. He was written off WWE TV after suffering a storyline injury at the hands of Kevin Owens during their unsanctioned match.

Zayn has long had a connection with Uso. The two developed a friendship during their time with The Bloodline faction. Oftentimes, Zayn kept Uso out of trouble with "The Tribal Chief" Roman Reigns.

Jey's brother Jimmy also made his way out to celebrate. Zayn's friendship with Jimmy took off quicker than it did with Jey. Initially, Jey felt Zayn was a leech within The Bloodline, but the two eventually bonded.

As of now, Zayn is still injured in storyline. During his return, he admitted that his current situation left him wondering if he would even travel to Las Vegas. Zayn said he wasn't going to miss the chance to celebrate with The Usos.

Time will tell what's next for Zayn and when he'll be back in action.
