It’s been a big year for Lex Luger.

He’s set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025 in Las Vegas this month. He also revealed on the 83 Weeks podcast that he was recently married.

“Seventeen years, didn’t date. No women in my life at all. And I met this girl last year, Robin. We started hanging out a little bit and, you know, sparks started flying a little bit.”

Luger shared that Pastor Steve, who previously baptized and ordained him, also officiated the wedding.

“I got saved April 23rd, 2006, and (Pastor Steve) ordained me about nine years later. And now he married us Friday night on the back patio of our house, just a few people there. And we didn’t want to do the big wedding thing, but it was really special.”

“And to have Steve—Pastor Steve—there for my salvation, my ordination, and my marriage, like the trifecta. I mean, he’s like my own brother.”

Last month, reports surfaced that Luger had informed WWE that Sting was his “preferred choice” to induct him into the Hall of Fame. Sting, who is still under AEW contract in some form, is scheduled to be in Las Vegas over WrestleMania weekend, participating in non-WWE-related events. Fightful Select reports that WWE is “planning to make overtures, if they hadn’t already, about making that happen.”

The 2025 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, April 18, at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas’ BleauLive Theater following SmackDown.
