Shannon Sharpe is catching strays from all angles.
Pat McAfee was in Las Vegas, Nev., for WrestleMania 41 over the weekend. He hosted Monday’s episode of “The Pat McAfee Show” in Las Vegas, and had Paul Heyman on for an interview.
Heyman, a longtime wrestling figure who serves as the “manager” for Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker in WWE programming, was critical of CM Punk. He took a shot at Sharpe while making his point.
“CM Punk does as much good to my reputation as Shannon Sharpe does to ESPN’s,” Heyman said on McAfee’s show.
When the fans in attendance at the show reacted strongly to the comments, Heyman defended himself.
“Don’t ‘OOOOO’ me I’m not the one getting sued,” Heyman responded.

Heyman had betrayed both CM Punk and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania to help Rollins. They then aligned with Breakker as well.
Seeing Heyman turn on Punk and then make that comment, while taking a shot at Sharpe, was pretty strong from the WWE manager. Of course, news emerged that day that Sharpe was being sued by a woman seeking $50 million in damages. Sharpe has since responded to the lawsuit.
