Rhea Ripley wants her legacy to be a genuine one.

The WWE Women’s World Champion is all set to compete at WrestleMania 41 this weekend, where she’ll battle Women’s World Champion IYO SKY and Bianca Belair in a stacked triple threat match. As the match inches closer, she delves into how she wishes to be remembered.

Ripley recently joined comedian and Hollywood actor Kevin Hart for LOL Network’s ‘Cold as Balls.’ In conversation, she opened up about her hopes for her legacy and how she wishes everyone to be their true selves.

“I hope that my legacy is obviously there. I want Rhea Ripley to be a mass name. I’m just going out there and being me. I’m being genuine to myself. I look different, I act different, and that’s what I want everyone to do too,” she said.

However, she was also quick to admit that, in the process, she has also reached her breaking point many times. According to Ripley, in those moments, she would remind herself how much she loved the sport. And those memories of her struggle and sacrifices often became strong propellants to keep her focused.

“Yeah. I’ve gone through that stage multiple times. Yeah! This is a hard business. It’s a mental game and a physical game altogether. But then, at the same time, I have to remind myself how much I loved it and how much I got like, brought into everything with the storylines,” she said. “And every time I step out in front of the crowd, I feel the love from the people, and that’s what reminds me of how much I love what I do. And also, I literally threw everything else away that I had worked on in my life. All the eggs were in one basket.”

“Comfortable Being A D*ckhead”

The interview also saw Ripley revealing her favourite WWE superstars. While two of her picks were rather obvious, there is a rather specific reason why she picked The Miz as her third.

“I had three main ones growing up, okay. It was Triple H, which is now my boss, so absolutely wild. He’s done so much in WWE, and now he’s literally running it. Then there’s The Miz. I love The Miz. I don’t know if it was like his cocky demeanor. He’s so funny. He’s so comfortable being a d*ckhead, and I love that. Then, obviously, CM Punk, as well. He’s finally back with WWE, which is amazing. It’s so wild to like have him there,” she said.
