Watch: Jacob Fatu wins first singles championship in WWE

There is a Samoan werewolf on the loose in the WWE. For the first time since his arrival in 2024, Jacob Fatu has won a singles championship.

Fatu picked up a win over LA Knight to become the new United States Champion in his first match of WrestleMania.

Fatu and Knight battled in what may have been the best match so far during Night 1 of WrestleMania 41. The win for Fatu was the third championship change in three matches so far during Night 1.

Fatu's win ended Knight's second United States Championship of this year. This most recent reign ended at just 49 days. Knight's two reigns this year have combined for less than 100 days.

With a stacked mid-card on "Friday Night SmackDown" featuring superstars such as Carmelo Hayes, Andrade, Rey Fenix and more, Fatu will have quite the target on his back in the foreseeable future.
