After Wrestlemania 39 went Hollywood last year, the yearly mega-event returns to the East Coast in 2024 as Wrestlemania 40 will take place inside Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA.
Since this year’s event takes place inside the home of the NFL’s Philadelphia Eagles, it means the event will be taking place outdoors. So if you are attending Wrestlemania, bundle up because temperatures in Philadelphia during early April can often be as low as 40 degrees in the evening.
In the United States, Wrestlemania 40 can be viewed on the Peacock streaming app. In the United Kingdom, it can be watched on TNT Sports Box Office or WWE Network in other parts of Europe.
If you have a subscription to Peacock, the $5.99 monthly cost is all you will need since Wrestlemania 40 will not be behind an added paywall. It will be the same if you have a subscription to WWE Network in international markets.
Since 2020, WWE shifted from making Wrestlemania a one-night extravaganza to a two-night event. That will be the case again in 2024.
While Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson does not officially have a match yet for the card, all signs point to him having a match at Wrestlemania 40. At this point, it seems more likely that he will compete on night one.
Most tickets for Wrestlemania are sold out, however, some can be found on third-party ticket markets. Currently, the cheapest seat is on night two for $196. But the view of the ring is not particularly good. While the most expensive tickets still available are a two-day pass for an insane $23,625
The main event for night two (April 7) of Wrestlemania will be a rematch of last year’s headliner when reigning WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns takes on 2024 Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes. The top bout for night one has not yet been set.
