Bianca Belair will be sidelined for an unspecified amount of time after suffering an injury at WWE WrestleMania 41.
Belair appeared on Friday’s WWE SmackDown in a backstage interview segment and revealed that she suffered broken fingers in her triple threat match at WrestleMania 41 on Sunday where IYO SKY retained the Women’s World title over Belair and Rhea Ripley.
In her segment with interviewer Byron Saxton, Belair’s left hand was wrapped, several fingers were taped together, and she had a splint on her left ring finger. No timetable was stated for Belair’s return, but commentator Joe Tessitore indicated that the three-time Women’s Champion will be on the shelf for some time.
Friday’s post-WrestleMania 41 SmackDown included a TLC match for the WWE Tag Team titles, a John Cena and Randy Orton interaction, the return of Aleister Black, plus a new Women’s United States Champion being crowned. Our full report from the show is available here.
