In 2018, WWE made history with Evolution, its first all-women’s pay-per-view event. The show featured top female talent and was hailed by the company as a significant step forward for women’s wrestling. Now, after years of anticipation, reports from the likes of WrestleVotes indicate that WWE is planning to bring back this landmark event with Evolution 2. Here’s everything we know so far.
According to multiple sources including WrestleVotes and PWN, WWE is in the preliminary stages of organizing Evolution 2. The event is tentatively scheduled for July 5, 2025, at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. While these plans are still subject to change, the current trajectory points toward a summer showcase for the company’s female superstars.
Fans awaiting confirmation likely won’t have to wait much longer. An official announcement regarding Evolution 2 is expected to be made shortly before WrestleMania 41, which is set for April 19 and 20, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

It’s very likely that WWE will want to have a WWE Women’s and Women’s World Championship match on the show at the very least, and with the likes of Stephanie Vaquer leading the line for NXT women she will also likely be on the card.
