Taking place on the eve of WrestleMania 41, Friday night’s WWE SmackDown averaged 1.741 million viewers on USA Network, up 12.3 percent from the previous week. That ties the best audience total the show has done since moving back to USA last September.
SmackDown finished second on the cable charts, and all of television, with a 0.55 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s up 22.2 percent from last week and matches the highest rating the show has done in that category since August of last year.
The show went head-to-head with an NBA playoff play-in game on TNT that averaged 1.798 million viewers and topped all of TV with a 0.62 rating in 18-49.
As compared to the same week in 2024, when the show still aired on Fox, SmackDown’s overall viewership was down 25.4 percent while its 18-49 rating was down 12.7 percent.
