WWE SmackDown spoilers for next week’s show

Spoilers for next week’s SmackDown are available. 

WWE taped an additional episode of the show last night at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut. It will air on Friday, December 20, 2024.

• Whatever happens between Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens tonight at Saturday Night’s Main Event won’t be the end of their feud. Owens cut another promo from a car on what will be next week’s SmackDown, and Owens and Rhodes ended up brawling to end the segment. 
• Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, and Tama Tonga defeated LA Knight, Andrade, and Apollo Crews.
• There was a segment with Jimmy Uso attacking Drew McIntyre
• WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Bianca Belair & Naomi (replacing Jade Cargill as of last night’s show) successfully defended the titles against Nia Jax & Candice LeRae
• Johnny Gargano defeated Alex Shelley
  • Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa have new music
• Braun Strowman on the Grayson Waller Effect led to a rematch between Strowman and Carmelo Hayes.
• Carmelo Hayes defeated Braun Strowman
