WWE's Full WrestleMania 41 Lineup Has Glaring Omission

The full two-night card for WWE WrestleMania 41 was officially revealed on Friday’s episode of SmackDown, confirming the lineup for April 19 and 20 in Las Vegas.

While the card features high-profile bouts, including Cody Rhodes vs. John Cena on Sunday and Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins on Saturday, one major name was notably absent: Randy Orton.

Orton was expected to appear in his 20th WrestleMania match, as reported on WrestleVotes on April 10, but was not included in either night’s official slate.

This omission comes despite a segment earlier in the same show where Orton confronted SmackDown GM Nick Aldis and issued a veiled threat about being left off the card.

The angle also saw Solo Sikoa step in and get involved, fueling speculation that a match between Orton and Sikoa might still be added before showtime.

The current Night Two card is one match shorter than Night One, leaving room for a late addition one week before the event.

Until now, and according to a Wrestling Observer Newsletter out before Friday's SmackDown, Orton had been rumored to face a to-be-determined opponent, with Sikoa as the most likely candidate.

In any case, with Cena and Rhodes headlining Night Two and Reigns, Punk, and Rollins main-eventing Night One, WrestleMania 41 already boasts a loaded lineup.

Whether WWE plans to officially add Orton vs. Sikoa in the final week remains unclear. For now, The Viper remains without a match on the Grandest Stage of Them All and is still short of reaching 20 WrestleMania appearances.
