The inaugural UFL season began five weeks ago today. Already, one of the four playoff spots has been clinched. The Birmingham Stallions cemented a spot in the conference championship game with a 39-21 win over the Memphis Showboats.
Week four of the UFL season is over and the Birmingham Stallions are still undefeated. In a rainy game, the Stallions defeated the D.C. Defenders, 20-18.
UFL week 3 kicked off its second game on Saturday, Apr. 15, with the Birmingham Stallions riding into their home opener at (2-0). The Birmingham Stallions were taking on a new look Memphis Showboats team at (1-1).

Sunday was a tough day for many players in the UFL, with over 100 players cut as part of the first round of roster cutdowns. The Birmingham Stallions released 16 players to get down to a 58-man roster entering the back half of training camp.
