20 of pop culture’s most iconic twins

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson have been sharing the screen since their time as Michelle Tanner in the classic TV series Full House. From 1987 to 1995, the twins appeared in 191 episodes before branching off to accept new roles in the industry. In the mid-2000s, Mary-Kate and Ashley walked away from acting to better focus on their fashion line, The Row.  

Tia and Tamera have been seen as one of pop culture's most iconic sets of twins since their debut in the '90s sitcom Sister, Sister. Since the show's end, they've continued to film other projects together, including movies and a reality show. However, they've also made a name for themselves apart from each other, with Tia appearing in TV shows for Nickelodeon and Netflix and Tamera snagging a spot on the popular talk show The Real.

Beyoncé's twins, Sir and Rumi, became some of pop culture's most iconic siblings once their superstar mother announced she was pregnant with them on Instagram. Since then, they've been featured in some of Bey's most acclaimed projects, including the Renaissance World Tour film and Cowboy Carter.

Nikki and Brie, also known as The Bella Twins, were some of the WWE's most talked-about stars. Together, they won three championship titles and discussed the behind-the-scenes details regarding their stint with the company in the 2013 reality show Total Divas. Years later, they were given a spin-off called Total Bellas, which ran from 2016 to 2021. Although they're no longer on television, fans can still get a dose of double trouble with their podcast, The Nikki & Brie Show, which brings listeners new episodes twice a week.

You can't think of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody without thinking of the iconic twins Dylan and Cole Sprouse, who made the franchise such a success.

George Bush's daughters, Jenna and Barbara, have always been seen as pretty cool, given they were twins who lived some of their best years in the White House. Since departing Washington D.C., Jenna has remained in the spotlight, working on NBC's Today with Hoda, while Barbara has lived a more private life, working for companies like Red Cross and Planned Parenthood.

Tiki and Ronde Barber both had successful careers in the NFL. Ronde played with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1997 to 2012, while Tiki played with the Giants from 1997 to 2006.

Even though NFL fans can never forget about Tiki and Ronde, today, the only twins they're talking about are the Brown brothers. Chase, of the Cincinnati Bengals, and Sydney, of the Philadelphia Eagles, faced off against each other in 2024 and called the moment "surreal."

Laurent and Larry Bourgeois, also known as Les Twins, have been the face of Beyoncé's dance team for years. The dancing brothers have been seen in several of the singer's projects, including Homecoming, the On The Run Tour with Jay Z, and most recently, the Renaissance World Tour film.

Twin brothers Max and Charlie Carver have been in a few projects together, like Teen Wolf and Desperate Housewives. However, they weren't always attached at the hip. In fact, they separated during their teenage years to attend different boarding schools. They reunited years later when they attended the University of Southern California.

Kenny and Keith Lucas have appeared in a few different productions, including the Channing Tatum-led 22 Jump Street. However, they really made a name for themselves when their screenwriting debut, Judas and the Black Messiah, hit the theatres. The film earned them six Academy Award nominations, including a nod for Best Picture. Ultimately, they won awards for Best Supporting Actor and Best Original Song.
