The Arizona Diamondbacks are one of the two youngest teams in Major League Baseball. They played their first game in 1998, earning a fifth-place finish. The following season, they added ace Randy Johnson and went on to clinch their first division title. By 2001, the team shocked the sports world after defeating the three-time defending New York Yankees in Game 7 of the World Series. But it would take over 20 years for the Diamondbacks to return to the World Series in 2023. They fell to the Texas Rangers but hope to finish the job next time.
The team returns Corbin Carroll, the unanimous winner of the Jackie Robinson National League Rookie of the Year Award. The outfielder was the first player in Diamondbacks history to capture the coveted accolade. The D-backs also added left-hander Jordan Montgomery to their pitching rotation and are supported by a strong bullpen led by Paul Sewald and Kevin Ginkel. The team is off to a slow start, but with 162 games in the season, there’s no reason to think they can’t turn things around. Here’s how you can follow their campaign through live TV streaming services.
Arizona Diamondbacks fans can follow nationally televised games on ESPN, Fox, Fox Sports 1 (FS1), MLB Network and TBS. The Diamondbacks’ regional sports network, FanDuel Sports Network Arizona, ceased operations in 2023. But fans outside the region can catch Diamondbacks games with an MLB.TV subscription.

DIRECTV STREAM is one of the most complete options for watching Arizona Diamondbacks and other MLB games. The 90-plus channel Entertainment plan includes all the baseball viewing essentials like ESPN, Fox, FS1, and TBS. Subscribers can upgrade to the Choice plan for even more games, highlights, and in-studio analysis on the MLB Network.
Upgrading to the higher-tiered plans also unlocks further sports programming on ACC Network, Big Ten Network, CBS Sports Network, ESPNU and Tennis Channel, just to name a few. RSNs are also available with no extra fees.
If you can’t watch Diamondbacks’ games live, DIRECTV STREAM has unlimited cloud DVR that stores recordings for up to nine months. Large households will enjoy unlimited streams at home and three out-of-home streams.
Fubo started out as the ultimate platform for soccer fans, but it expanded its offerings to include more sports coverage. Arizona Diamondbacks devotees can catch national broadcasts on the entry-level Essential plan, which includes ESPN, Fox, and FS1. Fubo more than doubles the channel count compared to a base plan from DIRECTV STREAM, with 211+ channels available.
To access MLB Network, you can subscribe to the Elite plan, which is loaded with 292+ channels. You can also consider an add-on that includes MLB Network (like Sports Plus with NFL RedZone) to another plan for an additional monthly fee.
Unfortunately, TBS is not included in Fubo’s packages. However, you do get unlimited Cloud DVR storage and up to 10 streams at home. Additionally, depending on the package you choose, you’ll also get access to popular sports channels like beIN SPORTS, NFL Redzone and many more.
Hulu + Live TV is a solid pick for streaming Arizona Diamondbacks games all season long. The live TV streaming service’s lineup features ESPN, Fox, FS1, and TBS. As a bonus, MLB Network was recently added to the programming just in time for the season. This means that subscribers can now watch over 100 games throughout the year.
Besides baseball, fans of pro and amateur leagues will have lots to keep them occupied with NFL Network, NHL Network, SEC Network, ACC Network, Big Ten Network, and many more on deck.
But by far, the biggest draw of a Hulu + Live TV subscription is access to Disney Plus and ESPN Plus. The platform also has unlimited DVR storage, although the two simultaneous streams leave much to be desired.
Sling TV is the most budget-friendly option for watching the Diamondbacks and, in some ways, the most limited. The two base plans (Sling Orange and Sling Blue) offer some of the channels you need for Diamondbacks action, but to watch ESPN, Fox, FS1 and TBS, you’ll need to consolidate these Sling TV packages. Luckily, Sling TV has that option. The combo Orange & Blue plan includes the above four channels.
If you want even more, Sling Orange & Blue + Sports Extra adds 25 more channels, including MLB Network. The extra channels may cost more, but they will also allow you to tune in to channels like SEC Network, NBA TV, MLB Strike Zone and the Tennis Channel.
One pretty significant drawback is the meager 50 hours of DVR storage. However, the wallet-friendly cost may prove to be the deciding factor especially considering that for a small fee you can increase your storage to 200 hours.
YouTube TV boasts more than 100 channels in its base plan. Baseball fans will enjoy coverage on ESPN, Fox, FS1, and TBS. YouTube TV cut ties with MLB Network in 2023 after the two parties could not strike a deal. However, the live TV streaming service satisfies the sports appetite with a slew of other channels, including ESPNEWS, ESPNU, FS2, Golf Channel, NBA TV, NFL Network and SEC Network.
The jewel in the YouTube TV crown is the NFL Sunday Ticket add-on, which allows subscribers to watch out-of-market games. Besides unlimited DVR storage, YouTube TV lets users add up to six personalized profiles for greater customization.
Apple TV+ is quickly becoming one of the best streaming platforms for original programming, including “Ted Lasso,” “Slow Horses,” “Drops of God,” “Bad Sisters,” and “Masters of Air.” But baseball fans will now have an extra incentive to subscribe. The streamer recently introduced “Friday Night Baseball,” which features a doubleheader every Friday night throughout the season. With the Diamondbacks on the bill, it’s yet another option to catch the team. If you want to test the service before committing, there is a free trial.
An MLB.TV subscription will allow you to watch games even if you do not live in the Arizona TV market. This service provides access to live broadcasts of out-of-market games without being subject to national or regional blackouts. The trio of plans includes a team-specific stream exclusively for Diamondbacks games, an out-of-market option for all teams, and a hybrid service featuring your favorite local team and the league’s out-of-market schedule. Free trials are available to test before buying. Subscribe through MLB.TV or purchase a subscription via Amazon Prime Video Channels.
The Major League Baseball season features a packed schedule of 162 games per team. You can keep up with all the MLB action on ESPN, Fox, FS1, MLB Network and TBS. For even more coverage, you also have the option of purchasing an MLB.TV subscription.
Hulu + Live TV offers programming on over 90 channels, which includes all the baseball staples. Follow the Arizona Diamondbacks on ESPN, Fox, FS1, and TBS.
Unfortunately, the now-defunct FanDuel Sports Network Arizona no longer provides coverage of local teams. But Diamondbacks fans can still follow national team coverage on ESPN, Fox, FS1, TBS, and the MLB Network.
