The Twins have lost six of their last seven games and now enter Sunday with a 4-11 record. They find themselves at the bottom of the AL Central. They face the division-leading Tigers for the final game of their series. Before the teams take the field today, the Twins have activated Brooks Lee to make his season debut. He has been sidelined since the start of the season with back tightness. The Twins will try to win the last game of the series. Then they will host the New York Mets for a three-game series.

Brooks Lee

The Twins have activated Lee from the 10-day injured list today ahead of the series finale with the Tigers. Lee last year played in 50 games for the Twins. He had a .221 batting average with a .585 OPS. Lee had six doubles, one triple, three home runs, 27 RBI, three steals, and nine runs scored. This spring, he had a .238 batting average with a .654 OPS. Lee hit two home runs and drove in four runs. The Twins placed him on the injured list right before the start of the regular season with back tightness. During his rehab stint, he played in four games with three hits, one walk, four strikeouts, and a .231 average.

Jose Miranda

The Twins have optioned Miranda to Triple-A, where he will continue his season playing with the St. Paul Saints. In 12 games this year for the Twins, Miranda has one home run and five RBI. He has a .167 batting average and a .417 OPS. Miranda does not have a walk this year, but has struck out 13 times in 36 at-bats.
