As we get deeper into the MLB season, the Minnesota Twins have continued to struggle in the first 25 games of the season.
With a record of 9-16, the Twins are in fourth place in the AL Central division and are six games behind the first place Detroit Tigers.
Just over a month into the MLB season, Minnesota ranks in the bottom five teams in nearly every major offensive category and has struggled to build any momentum
The Twins are in need of a boost, and some positive news arrived on Thursday, April 24.
Third baseman Royce Lewis has been assigned to Triple-A St. Paul to begin a rehab stint with the Saints.

Some good news for the Twins as they have been in need of some offensive help so far this season.
Lewis went down on March 16 with a hamstring injury he sustained in Spring Training.
At just 25 years old, Lewis hasn't been the healthiest player since making his MLB debut in 2022.
In three seasons, Lewis has appeared in just 152 games – a total that would be expected from just one full season.
Although he has been on the wrong side of injuries in his short career, the 2017 first overall pick has shown great potential on defense as well as in the batter's box.
In his career, Lewis has a .268 batting average, .497 slugging percentage and an OPS of .825.
Twins fans have grown frustrated with their team and Lewis so far this season, but once he finds better health, it will be interesting if they can find a way to turn this season around.
